1920S ENGLISH PENDANTS
In this Connecticut kitchen, the island has a high of honed Carrara marble, the wall tiles are by Waterworks, the cooker is Viking, and the stools are by York Street Studio; the 19th-century Windsor seat is a family heirloom, and the 1920s English pendants are out of BK Antiques.
TOLE CHANDELIER
From the kitchen of style designer Veronica Swanson Beard's Long Island home, the seats, with cushions in a Schumacher stripe, and dining table are by McGuire, the tole chandelier is classic, and the flooring is oak.
UNDERSTATED SHORT PENDANT
The kitchen cabinet and marble-topped Tuscan tables within this Florence estate are 19th-century and the flooring is handmade cement tile from Florence.
LANTERNS
In the kitchen of an Upstate New York ranch, a root table located at an upstate New York auction was fitted with a glass top, the Josef Hoffmann seats are covered in a classic Larsen cloth, the ceiling incorporates beams from a 19th-century Pennsylvania barn as well as the lights are by Isamu Noguchi.
Industrial Pendants
Three is not necessarily a crowd. In a mountain getaway, a trio of Shaw pendants by Urban Electric Co. hang within the custom made island.
Rattan Pendant
A natural texture may add the perfect finishing note. The Palecek rattan pendant in this kitchen seems "old-school Florida," designer Andrew Howard states.
